We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Cleaners at a prominent airport in the UAE. As a General Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various areas of the airport, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for travelers and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting in designated areas of the airport, including terminals, waiting areas, restrooms, and public spaces.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in a proper manner.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, replenish supplies, and ensure they are well-maintained throughout the day.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstery to remove dirt and debris.
- Clean glass surfaces, windows, and mirrors to maintain a spotless appearance.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or knowledge of general cleaning practices is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with excellent attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
